I recently visited River House in at the end of September of 2025, I had a wonderful trip, I caught a couple beautiful steelhead. You know you are in the right place when 75% of your flight are there for the fishing!

The countryside at this time of the year was breathtaking, fall colors everywhere, the property has fantastic views of the Bulkley Vally, the river and the snow-covered mountains on the far side of the valley. Ed took us on a tour of the property; there are side by side trails throughout allowing you to easily get everywhere and to see a lot of the property that you may not have otherwise. The lake cabin, the other cabin near the main house are wonderfully designed and constructed, the lake cabin was right next to the lake, I would be content to just stay there!

I have been on fishing trips before but getitgn up having breakfast, going fishing and then going to a nice fishing cabin close to the river is unbeatable, you can relax, warm up and recharge for the rest of you day.  The whole p[lace is setup for a fantastic experience whether fishing or just relaxing being in the beautiful surroundings.

The main house is stunning with the floor to ceiling fireplaces wonderful bedrooms with their own on suites. The pool room, Theater room all of it are designed to be used and enjoyed and can accommodate almost any sided gathering.

The place has to be seen to be believed, the location, the property, the houses, are truly a sight to behold with a lot of thought going into each of the extras that just keep adding up. The eagles next where you can overlook the valley, awesome!

The one thing that I think is a positive that some people may gloss over is the location, you feel like you are out in the wilderness but you are not, not really, you have wonderful privacy due of the size of the property, easy the access to the river but you are only about a half hour to airport and town and all its conveniences.

I have lived in small remote areas of California, and you don’t realize how nice it is to not be close to town but not far away either, until you don’t have it!

I urge anything thinking of acquiring River House, go there, you will be amazed at the beauty and everything that has been added to the property that truly make it a once in a lifetime opportunity to own.
