“I recently heard that you and Judith are selling River House. Personally, I have reacted to the news with mixed emotions. On one hand, I completely understand that as we get older, Father Time smacks us upside the head and screams, ‘Time to simplify.’ But the good times and memories of staying at River House and fishing the Bulkley make me want to plead for just one more season.

As you know, I have chased steelhead for over fifty years. I have fished a dozen locations in the lower-48, gone to Alaska more times than I like to admit, and have an old passport with stamps only a fisherman would recognize. Looking back, I could have saved myself a lot of time and money. The combination of staying at River House and fishing the Bulkley makes it a clear winner.
